Lil’ Wayne | Don’t Stop, Won’t Stop (ft. Nikki Menaj)
I just complained about the lack of good hip-hop last week, but it looks like things are already improving. After a surprisingly long wait, I finally got a hold of Lil Wayne’s new mixtape, Da Drought 3, early last week. I haven’t had the time to get through all 29 tracks in one sitting, but I still feel pretty confident saying that this is a damn good mixtape. Some tracks miss their mark, but the majority of them are right on. One track in particular piques my interest; ‘Don’t Stop, Won’t Stop’ featuring Nikki Menaj. More than anything, the track is a showcase of Nikki Menaj impressive skills. It’s hard to find any info on her right now, but I think that’s going to change pretty soon; her smooth flow blends impeccably with Lil’ Wayne’s weathered voice. Da Drought 3 is available as a free download all over the internet. If I have the time, I might put it up here later.
