Queens Of The Stone Age | Make It Wit Chu

When we first heard Make It Wit Chu a few months ago (or was it even longer ago?), it was safe to say it wasn’t your average Queens song. It’s slow, almost bluesy flow was the polar opposite of what we’ve come to expect from from QOTSA. In the context of Era Vulgaris, it seems even odder. Sandwiched between ‘Battery Acid’ and ‘3’s & 7’s’, arguably two of the album’s hardest tracks, ‘Make It’ can’t help but draw attention to itself. Of course, that would only be a problem if it were a bad song. Since it’s actually a pretty great one, it’s placement works well. Right when all that rock starts to blend together, ‘Make It’ comes to the rescue, saving Era Vulgaris from being the dreaded ’samey’. So, without any further ado, I give you yet another great track from Era Vulgaris. Also, be sure to head over to Culture Bully to hear another new Vulgaris track, Turnin’ On The Screw.

Hmm.. different for QOTSA, but a complete re-run of the same song on Homme’s Desert Sessions Vol. 9 & 10. Lazy little beggar
